Covid 19 coronavirus updates
Our first delivery of Pfizer BioNtech Covid19 vaccines arrived on Fri 26th Feb and we were delighted to hold our first vaccination clinic on Sat 27th Feb for those over the age of 85yrs. Our next clinic will be for those aged over 80yrs on Monday 15th March. We will forward appointment details and other information beforehand.

It should always be read prior to receiving the vaccine and any questions you have should be discussed with the vaccinator nurse or doctor beforehand.
The HSE is also preparing Covid19 vaccination centres in Limerick, Ennis and Nenagh for those under 70yrs. People are likely to have the option of getting vaccinated with their GP or chemist or at a HSE vaccination centre in the coming months. The HSE will publish more details about where people can have the vaccine and which groups are to be vaccinated in order of priority.
Please note that there is no fee for GP telephone consultations regarding possible Covid 19 symptoms which can start with very few symptoms such as a mild cold. Please phone as soon as possible if you develop any symptoms.
There is no fee should you need a Covid 19 test with the HSE.
There is no fee either for a necessary examination by the GP for Covid-19 related symptoms or for an examination in the dedicated doctor run HSE "Hub" in Limerick city.
