Flu vaccines 2021 -2022
Flu vaccines are available at Corbally Medical for adults and children from the age of six months. For information as to who should get the flu vaccine please check below and read on the HSE website at: HSE FLU VACCINE
The three types of flu vaccines available free of charge at Corbally Medical as funded by the HSE for 2021/2022 season are:
Quadrivalent Influenza Vaccine by Sanofi Pasteur
For children aged 6 to 23 months
For adults aged 18 to 64yrs with chronic medical conditions, pregnant women, healthcare workers and carers. (Adults receiving flu vaccine outside these groups are not funded by the HSE and a fee applies)
Fluad Tetra by Seqirus
For people aged 65yrs and over
Fluenz Tetra nasal spray by Astra Zeneca AB
For children aged 2 to 17 yrs
Patient Information Leaflets ("PILs").
Persons receiving any of the flu vaccines, or the parents/guardians of children receiving flu vaccines, must read the relevant Patient Information Leaflet ("PIL") prior to receiving the vaccine. These are available online as below and are also available in paper form at our clinic. You can ask any questions you may have prior to vaccination.

Pneumococcal vaccine
Pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine (PPV23) is advised for those aged 65 years and older and those over 2 years with long term medical conditions. This vaccine protects against 23 types of pneumococcal disease including those most likely to cause severe disease.
Persons receiving the pneumococcal vaccine, or their parents/guardians in the case of children, must read the relevant Patient Information Leaflet ("PIL") prior to receiving the vaccine. This is online as below and also available in paper form at our clinic. You can ask any questions you may have prior to vaccination.
