Coronary Calcium Scan - is a useful non invasive method of screening for plaques in coronary arteries i.e. coronary artery disease. It is available in Ireland through GP referral. The World Health Organization advises that drugs from websites that conceal their physical address are counterfeit in over half of cases. The US Food and Drug Administration 'FDA' and the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy 'NABP' regularly update a list of websites likely to sell drugs that are illegal or of doubtful quality.
Paracetamol may aggravate asthma / eczema / allergic sinusitis in young people, as may Ibuprofen and other painkillers. Best not to use painkillers unless necessary for pain and with healthcare professional advice. Do not routinely use drugs for lowering temperatures - a temperature is part of the body's natural defence mechanisms to kill infectious organisms.
